About This Song
About "Tensity" by Cannonball Adderley Quintet
A coiled-spring groove from the Adderley quintet, all taut horn lines and restless rhythm. The title says it all: smoky soul-jazz stretched to its breaking point, where every solo feels like a held breath before the release. David Axelrod’s production adds a cinematic shadow to the simmering tension.
