About This Song
About "Yankadi" by Alou Sangaré
A courtship dance refracted through electric kora and rolling percussion, 'Yankadi' pulses with coiled anticipation. Sangaré balances sweetness and restraint, the groove a tightrope walk between invitation and hesitation, bodies circling in humid twilight.
