About This Song
About "Medicine Show" by Bruce Lash
A title like 'Medicine Show' promises cure-all hucksterism, but Lash delivers a slow, queasy carnival. The song becomes a sideshow of the soul—calm on the surface, yet rife with the unease of false promises. Each note is a placebo, the tension between hope and charlatanism lingering like a bitter aftertaste.
