About This Song
About "Black & Blue" by BB Brunes
Garage guitars jangle and snarl, singer sneering through a bruised romantic haze. BB Brunes channel Nico Teen Love's title track into a black-and-blue valentine: sweet melody, sour attitude. The rhythm stumbles forward like a late-night walk home, equal parts swagger and regret, French pop's cool surface hiding a hot ache.
