About This Song
About "Chantilly Lace" by Bobby Lee Trammell
Trammell tackles the classic with a leer and a stomp, transforming it into a rowdy roadhouse boast. The original's coyness becomes a sweaty, winking swagger. Underneath the bravado, a frantic pulse hints at the anxiety of a suitor who knows he's all talk.
