About "The Way We Were" by Brett Johnson
Johnson reworks 'The Way We Were' into a bittersweet electronic ballad. Warm pads and a loping beat frame a sense of looking back, the tension between fondness and regret. It's a photograph fading in the sun, beautiful but impossible to hold.
