About "Go, Tell It on the Mountain (Arr. J. Rutter)" by Cambridge Singers
Rutter's arrangement turns the spiritual into a bright, rhythmic procession, the choir's syncopations climbing like footsteps up a hillside. There is buoyant energy here, but also a solemn undercurrent—the mountain as both witness and obstacle. The good news travels not in a shout but in a steady, irresistible stride.
