About This Song
About "Die Walkure : Act I : Du Bist der Lenz, Nach dem ich Verlange" by Astrid Varnay
Varnay's Sieglinde blooms with springtime longing, her voice a sudden sunburst through winter's grip. The duet's tenderness is charged with forbidden fire, a delicate ecstasy that trembles on the edge of ruin.
