About This Song
About "Ma France" by Isabelle Aubret
A patriotic hymn filtered through cabaret intimacy, Aubret's 'Ma France' is a patchwork quilt of villages and scars. The live setting lends it a defiant warmth, as if the nation itself were a fragile, beloved body cradled against the chest of memory.
