About "840 song" by Balkadjé
840 song is Balkadjé’s numeric mantra: a hypnotic loop of percussion and clipped phrases that ticks like a clock in an empty room. The calm is mechanical, almost eerie, each repetition tightening the screw of unease. It’s a countdown to something unnamed, and the silence between beats is loud.
