About This Song
About "Addio isola felice" by Piero Umiliani
'Addio isola felice' is the farewell after the fantasy. Umiliani lets the theme dissolve into bittersweet resignation, each note a wave retreating from shore. The calm is real, but so is the emptiness left in its wake.
