About This Song
About "Gloria (Mary's Prayer)" by Christy Johnson Of Worth Dying For
A worship ballad that wraps the nativity in soft-focus devotion, Mary's prayer rising like incense over synthetic strings. The calm is almost too serene, hinting at the sword that will pierce her soul—a Christmas lullaby with a shadow of Good Friday.
