About "Government Lies (Defence of the Realm EP '83)" by Anti System
From the 1983 'Defence of the Realm' EP, 'Government Lies' is a scathing hardcore punk critique. The song's title conjures a landscape of deceit, and its relentless rhythm and snarled vocals embody the anger and betrayal felt by a generation confronting institutional dishonesty.
