About "Alive" by Hot Since 82
Alive pulses with a paradoxical tension: propulsive kicks and bright stabs suggest celebration, but the atmosphere is cavernous, almost lonely. It's the rush of a crowd at 3 a.m.—vitality and isolation sharing the same sweaty air, a heartbeat amplified in an empty room.
