About This Song
About "Blue Christmas" by André De Shields
André De Shields doesn't just sing 'Blue Christmas'—he inhabits it. The velvet rasp of his voice wraps around the holiday standard like a worn coat, revealing melancholy beneath the tinsel. A slow-burning arrangement lets the loneliness breathe, turning a seasonal staple into a late-night confession of quiet, resilient heartache.
