About This Song
About "Il Bajazet, Act I: Non più" by Auser Musici
A terse negation—'no more'—becomes a hinge on which the drama turns. The continuo walks a tightrope beneath a voice that refuses consolation. Auser Musici captures the moment when resolve hardens into something closer to despair.
