About "Scarlatti, A: Ombre tacite e sole: III. Recitativo. "Qui, tra tenebre oscure"" by Artaserse

This recitativo from Scarlatti's Ombre tacite e sole plunges into darkness. Artaserse's voice is a lone figure navigating 'tenebre oscure,' each word a step through shadow. The sparse accompaniment heightens the unease, a quiet dread that lingers like fog.
