About This Song
About "Shim Sham Shimmy" by Billy 'The Kid' Emerson
A raucous shuffle from the blues piano master, all juke-joint swagger and stomping joy. The rhythm stumbles and struts, a party spilling into the street. Beneath the good-time clatter, a sly wink—the kid knows exactly what he’s doing.
