About This Song
About "Promise Me Yesterday" by Abe Duque
A melancholic techno cut, 'Promise Me Yesterday' aches with nostalgia. Duque wraps a plaintive vocal around a bed of warm, undulating synths, creating a bittersweet tension between the desire to rewind and the forward march of the beat. A dancefloor confession.
