About This Song
About "Le Lis" by Billy Cobham
A delicate jazz-funk bloom, 'Le Lis' unfurls petals of electric piano and flute over a soft-focus shuffle. Cobham's brushes suggest a flower opening in slow motion, beauty shadowed by melancholy. The tension lies in its restraint—a gentle sway that could fracture into sorrow at any bar.
