About This Song
About "Cherry Red" by Big Joe Turner
Turner's 'Cherry Red' simmers with slow-burn desire, his voice a low flame licking at the edges of a torch song. The title's vivid hue becomes an obsession, the arrangement sparse enough to let every ache and yearning hang in the smoky air.
