About "Mexican Radio" by Bruce Lash
Wall of Voodoo's paranoid travelogue becomes a slow, hypnotic drift. 'Mexican Radio' loses its manic twang, replaced by a static-laced meditation on dislocation. The title's signal fades in and out—a distant voice in the desert, calm on the surface, but underneath, a restless search for connection in the noise.
