About This Song
About "Die Himmel erzählen die Ehre Gottes, Cantata BWV 76 / Pt. 2 : J.S. Bach: Die Himmel erzählen die Ehre Gottes, Cantata BWV 76 / Pt. 2: XII. "Liebt, ihr Christen, in der Tat"" by Anna Reynolds
Reynolds delivers a call to love in deed, her voice a steady hand on the shoulder of the faithful. The aria's dance-like lilt belies its moral weight, joy and obligation intertwined like counterpoint. Bach frames charity not as burden but as liberation—a bright thread through the cantata's woven devotion.
