About "Oh Boy" by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Buddy Holly's 'Oh Boy' is pure, giddy propulsion—a hiccup of joy caught on tape. The Crickets lock into a locomotive shuffle, guitars bright as chrome, while Holly's voice cracks with teenage urgency. It's the sound of a Saturday night that never has to end, innocence at full throttle.
