About This Song
About "Lucky" by Brenda Russell
A shimmering slice of sophisticated soul, 'Lucky' rides a mellow groove like a slow drive at dusk. Russell’s voice is warm and knowing, tracing the thin line between gratitude and resignation. It’s a quiet celebration that never quite shakes the feeling of waiting for the other shoe.
