About "D. Scarlatti: Keyboard Sonata in C Minor, Kk. 11" by Andrés Segovia
Scarlatti’s C-minor sonata, transcribed for guitar, becomes a study in shadow and sudden light. Segovia teases out the keyboard’s original tension—the stark opening figure against a tender, almost vocal reply—until the strings seem to hold a breath between baroque order and romantic ache.
