About "Swing 42" by Christie
Swing 42: a number, a rhythm, a ghost of Django. Christie's take is buoyant yet bittersweet, the swing carrying a whiff of smoke and nostalgia. The joy is real, but it's the joy of a photograph—frozen, fragile, already fading.
