About This Song
About "Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1007 : J.S. Bach: Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1007: I. Prélude" by Mischa Maisky
Bach's Prélude is a steady river of arpeggios, each note a droplet in an unbroken flow. Maisky's cello breathes with patient grandeur, the harmony rolling forward like time itself. There's serenity here, but also a quiet insistence—a current pulling you toward some distant, luminous horizon.
