About This Song
About "La cetra, Oboe Concerto No. 1 in D Major, S. D936 : Marcello: La cetra, Oboe Concerto No. 1 in D Major, S. D936: II. Larghetto" by Camerata Bern
A larghetto of hushed intimacy, Marcello's D Major slow movement breathes like a quiet room at dawn. Camerata Bern strips the texture to its tender core, the oboe floating over soft, sustained strings. The emotional tension is between stillness and longing—a beauty so fragile it seems to hold its breath.
