About This Song
About "Humoreske, Op. 20 : Schumann: Humoreske, Op. 20 - 2. Hastig" by Bella Davidovich
'Hastig' means hurried, and Davidovich takes Schumann at his word—notes tumble over each other like anxious thoughts, a pulse racing ahead of itself. The movement's charm lies in its breathless instability, never quite landing.
