About This Song
About "Bach, JS: Flute Sonata in E-Flat Major, BWV 1031: II. Siciliano (Transcr. Lüstner for Piano)" by Alexis Weissenberg
A Siciliano swaying like a gondola on dark water, Weissenberg renders this Bach transcription with a lullaby's tenderness and a shadow's unease. The melody curls inward, a soft-spoken secret, while the accompaniment rocks with the pulse of a held breath. It's a study in poise—graceful on the surface, but underneath, a quiet, persistent ache.
