About This Song
About "New Money (Reprise)" by Original Broadway Cast Of The Great Gatsby A New Musical
The cast reprises the theme of new money with a frantic, almost manic energy. The melody twists with a desperate urgency, as if trying to outrun its own reflection. It's a glittering façade cracking under pressure, the sound of ambition devouring itself in a whirl of champagne and shattered glass.
