About This Song
About "Kalapakkaara" by Benny Dayal
Kalapakkaara—a whirlwind of folk percussion and Dayal’s elastic voice. The rhythm is chaotic yet controlled, like a festival procession that could tip into riot at any moment. Celebration and unease share the same drumbeat. You dance, but you keep looking over your shoulder.
