About "Sweet Little Angel" by Bo Diddley
Bo Diddley's 'Sweet Little Angel' is a slow-burning blues, but within The Super Super Blues Band's raucous context, it's a moment of tender respite. Diddley's guitar licks curl like smoke, balancing the album's fiery jams with a calm, aching vulnerability. A sweet, haunted sigh.
