About This Song
About "Les Gens heureux" by Jean Claude Pascal
Pascal observes the happy people with a smile that doesn't quite reach the eyes. 'Les Gens heureux' is a bittersweet parade, its lilting tune masking a quiet outsider's ache. The tension between collective joy and private melancholy makes the song sting.
