About "Masquerade Suite, Op. 48b (Transcr. Dolukhanian for Piano) : Khachaturian: Masquerade Suite, Op. 48b (Transcr. Dolukhanian for Piano): III. Mazurka" by Aram Khachaturian

Dolukhanian's piano transcription strips the mazurka to its bones, revealing a dance that stumbles between swagger and sorrow. The rhythm is crisp, but the harmonies bruise—a ballroom memory where the chandeliers flicker and the footsteps echo a little too loudly.
