About This Song
About "Emi" by Barnt
'Emi' is a miniature of restrained electronic longing, named like a half-remembered friend. Barnt keeps the pulse close and the melody closer, a whispered secret in a concrete room. The calm is deceptive; beneath the steady kick, something unresolved flickers like a faulty fluorescent tube.
