About "Mighty Yusef" by Chip Wickham
A tribute with swagger, 'Mighty Yusef' nods to Yusef Lateef's legacy with a strutting groove and a flute line that leaps and hollers. Wickham channels the master's spirit—curious, restless, and joyfully eclectic—without ever sounding like a mere imitation.
