About This Song
About "Requiem : Jenkins: Requiem: II. Dies Irae" by Catrin Finch
Catrin Finch’s harp ignites Jenkins’s 'Dies Irae' with ominous beauty. The strings churn like storm clouds, and the Latin text warns of wrath, but Finch’s playing adds a crystalline fragility. It’s a tension between divine judgment and human trembling, awe and terror intertwined.
