About This Song
About "Counting Highway Signs" by Big Al Downing
Downing turns the highway into a confessional, each sign a tick of time passing. The rhythm rolls like tires on asphalt, steady and hypnotic, while a quiet loneliness hums beneath the engine's drone. It's motion as meditation, destination unknown.
