About "Elijah, Op. 70, MWV A25 / Part 1 : Mendelssohn: Elijah, Op. 70, MWV A25 / Part 1: "Woe, woe unto them who forsake Him!"" by Boyd Neel Orchestra

Mendelssohn’s 'Woe, woe unto them' from Elijah is a dramatic hinge: the prophet’s warning sung with orchestral thunder. Boyd Neel Orchestra balances solemnity and theatricality, the chorus’s repeated 'woe' echoing like footsteps in an empty cathedral, conviction shadowed by dread.
