About This Song
About "Blue Susan" by Anthony Joseph
Blue Susan is a spectral figure, half-blues lament, half-dream. Joseph’s voice floats over a sparse, minor-key arrangement, the emotional tension between longing and resignation held in the slow, deliberate space between each phrase.
