About "Marionettes club" by Bernard Estardy
A marionette club where strings are pulled by a ghostly bandleader: clavinet twitches, bass walks stiff-legged, drums snap like wooden joints. Estardy's groove is playful yet unnerving, a cabaret of dolls dancing to a tune that feels almost, but not quite, alive.
