About This Song
About "Breakout (Punk Dead, Nah Mate Compilation LP '82)" by Anti System
On 'Breakout,' Anti-System channel the claustrophobia of confinement into a fast, hopeful hardcore charge. The riffs scramble upward like fingers clawing at a cell door, and the chorus feels like a collective shove against the walls. The tension is between the urge to escape and the fear of what’s outside.
