About This Song
About "Solve iubente Deo" by Cambridge Singers
A motet of divine command, where the choir's lines unfold with processional gravity. The music feels like a door opening slowly onto light—orderly, luminous, and quietly resolute. Cambridge Singers balance the text's authority with a softness that keeps the piece from feeling stern, making obedience sound like a form of grace.
