About This Song
About "Closer" by Postmodern Jukebox
A synth-pop come-on gets a finger-snap makeover, closer to a jazz-age flirtation than a club banger. The tension is all in the restraint: brushed drums, a teasing bassline, a vocal that leans in but never quite touches. Seduction as a slow, elegant game.
