About This Song
About "As Soon As the Weather Breaks" by Bobby "Blue" Bland
Bland waits for the storm to pass, his vocal a patient, weathered sigh. The song's bluesy shuffle suggests a door left ajar, hope flickering against gray skies. As soon as the weather breaks, he'll move—but the tension lies in the holding pattern, restless and resigned.
