About "Banned From The Pubs" by Peter & The Test Tube Babies
Peter & The Test Tube Babies make exile from the pub a comic tragedy. 'Banned From The Pubs' is a boozy sea shanty for the dispossessed, all slurred harmonies and clattering drums. The tension is between laughter and genuine loss—a pint glass half empty.
