About This Song
About "Close-Up" by Andrew Pekler
A close-up of what, exactly? Pekler zooms into a sonic detail—a breath, a click, a lingering tone—until it becomes a landscape. The intimacy is unsettling: the closer you listen, the more the object dissolves into abstraction. Tension hums between the microscopic and the vast.
