About "Ma jeunesse fout l'camp" by Jean Claude Pascal
'Ma jeunesse fout l'camp' is Pascal's rueful farewell to youth, a chanson propelled by bittersweet wit. Time slips through his fingers like sand from a broken hourglass. The melody's jaunty swing masks a quiet panic—aging as both liberation and theft, sung with a shrug and a sigh.
